Ram's party...

In classic Carter form, we weren't able to have a proper cake and present celebration for Ram until Sept. 12th. He didn't mind. The funny thing was, when the girls turned 1 I made sure to strip them down to their diapers, lay out plastic, clear away anything that might get frosting all over, and what did they do? Dabble. So with Ram I thought, Bah! Well, I should have known-BOY. The least I could have done was take off his shirt!Happy late party Ram, we sure love you and your boy-ness!!

First day(s) of school!

I sure love having my girls at home with me all day every day during the summer time, but I also love knowing that they get to have great learning and social experiences at pre-school. Plus, we sure love Ms. Carma! Viana had the first, first day of school (she goes T/TH 9:30-12), and was very confident and very excited to be going back to her pre-school but to be in the FOUR year old class. Brooke had her first day the next day. She goes M/W from 12:30-2. She gets to carpool with her little friend Kydan, which is nice on me and fun for her. But for the first day, I took her. And glad I did. :)

Look how big she's getting!
Down she goes! I love that little look! Confident but loving.
And then she emerged, bouncing and thrilled as can be with a great pre-school experience!!

Ram is 1!

I had the blessed goal of going to every football game this year. Sept. 3 found the game in North Summitt-a mere 4 hours away. So we made a Ram birthday weekend out of it. Did we document the joy of our first born son turning one?? Barely!! Here he is with Eric at the game the night before (which is technically the one year birthday of when I went into labor). And here's the sole picture from his actual birthday. But hey, rest assured, a visit to Chuck E. Cheese on your birthday is always a good thing!

Ram is an absolute JOY JOY JOY. I am so thankful for him being a part of our family. He brings such a great energy and glee to our family chemistry. His sisters love him and he LOVES his sisters. He is and always has been such a good baby. We love you boy!!
