Life Math

What one week does to peas
(Now addicted to gardening)
What hot rocks do to chicken

(Officially fans of the miracle of Dutch Oven cooking)
What pigtails do to a baby

(Did I say baby?  I meant toddler)
What Ram does everyday
(Well isn't your heart melting?)

I have precious girls that I coach on the track team.  I love them so very very much.  Two of them have leg injuries that make it very painful for them to workout on the track day after day, so I had this CRAZY idea to go to the pool for a workout session--at 4:30 in the morning!!!  When I told this idea to Eric he said, "Why don't you just go to the pool after school during practice?"  Because then it wouldn't be CRAZY!
As it turns out the pool didn't open until 5am, here we are at 5am--being CRAZY!  When I got there the girls got out of the car and I said, "We're CRAZY!" and Danielle said, "I knew you would say that!"  Haha, they had morning faces, I had CRAZY face!
Basically we spent 40 minutes in the pool getting our butts kicked!!  It was so GREAT!  Swimming is hard...for us at least, the four 60 year old women who beat us there, were swimming when we got in, swam the whole time, and were still swimming when we left didn't seem to find it very hard. We loved it though and will do it again!!!

I like when Brooke is in charge

Of the FHE treat that is.  It is almost an automatic trip for ice cream.
And we almost always go to our favorite place.  The Piggy Bank.  Can you imagine the peak in business if those cute children were always in the window?
Back in the days of yore when life was simpler I would take Viana and Brooke to the little Wyview creamery and let Viana choose one of the 4 available flavors of ice cream to get a free sample spoon.  She would get her kindly loaded spoon and we would walk the 50 yards back to our house much happier.  It was such a simple little ritual and at the same time so fulfilling.  This moment yesterday reminded me of those times.

Haha, this employee (we think her name is Faith) always works on Monday night when we go in for FHE--we feel like we're best friends.

And for the record, we don't dine only on ice cream.  Sometimes we gorge ourselves on delicious rolls-which as of Easter we have been addicted too.

The dance recital!

It was the girls' spring recital today!  They got to do their winter recital dance as well as the dance they learned this semester.  They both did fantastic!!!  The girls enjoyed dance, but we are also a little glad for a break!!  It was hard work!
A little bit of personality for you...

Ram felt a little overwhelmed with all of the glitter and poof and pink of the hour.  But he survived. :)

P-town trip

We made a dash up to Provo to see the Lindes and to meet the rumored Andy fellow.  Did we get joyous amounts of pictures of it all?  Of course not!  Who do you think we are, Paparazzi??  But we did manage these few shots.  No pics of Andy or Jamie or LaDon or all the Roy girls present or the cousins playing at the park or Summer cleaning...But we did get pictures of: "The Mountain of the Lord"

And Krista just two days off of a wisdom tooth(s) extraction so she can go on a MISSION (and Elise with her toilet paper)
And some of the cousins (they played hide-n-seek for an hour.  It was cute beyond cute)
And if you focus on Daniel in this picture it is proof that he was a happy joyous tear free non-tantrumental jumping boy!!!  (Not really because he has become accustomed to the Carters and decided that he likes us.  More so because he got to be naked!! )
It was a great trip, and as it turns out we did like Andy.  Although he probably does not like us, I was a little spastic around him!  (It's my baby sister people!  How else am I supposed to act!)

Baby's got blue eyes!

I can't believe my girls are old enough to play t-ball! Nor can I believe that we have not yet developed basic throwing and catching skills in our girls. It was the first practice of the season today and they actually did pretty good and although apprehensive at first they REALLY loved it. They are the PINK BUTTERFLIES afterall!!
